Themed hanbok

Besides everyday hanbok, many shops near the palace rent themed hanbok: royal-style robes with gold embroidery, a king's red dragon robe, or Joseon-era official and guard costumes. They cost roughly double a basic set and photograph well against the throne hall. Free palace entry still applies, as long as the gate staff see it as hanbok.
