Luggage storage in Seoul

Seoul subway lockers cost ₩2,200–4,400 for four hours on weekdays, depending on size, and there are about 5,500 of them across 269 stations. Got a big suitcase? The staffed T-Luggage counters at eight stations take bags from ₩3,000 and can even send them to Incheon Airport the same day.

Subway lockers (T-Locker)

The coin lockers in Seoul Metro stations are called T-Locker (또타라커 in Korean). The base fee covers your first four hours. After that you pay by the hour.

Small, first 4 hours (weekday)₩2,200, then ₩500 per hour
Medium, first 4 hours (weekday)₩3,300, then ₩800 per hour
Large, first 4 hours (weekday)₩4,400, then ₩1,000 per hour
Weekend base fee (one guide)₩3,100 / ₩4,600 / ₩6,100

The weekday prices are from the Seoul city government. The weekend base fees come from one user guide; the hourly extra is the same on weekends.

My tip: Check the T-Locker app before you ride to the station, especially on a weekend morning. And if your suitcase is 28 inches, skip the lockers and go straight to a T-Luggage counter.

T-Luggage staffed counters

T-Luggage is run by Seoul Metro. Staff take your bag at a counter, so size is less of a headache. The official site lists eight stations.

Where

Seoul Station, Myeongdong, Hongik Univ. (Hongdae), Jongno 3-ga, Jamsil, Gangnam, Suseo and Gimpo Airport. Jongno 3-ga is one stop from Anguk, close to Changdeokgung and Ikseon-dong.

Hours

Open every day. The official site lists 09:00–22:00 for the counters, with pick-up from 10:00; the city's 2025 notice says 10:00–22:00. Sources differ, so I'd plan on 10:00–22:00.

Booking

Book on the T-Luggage website or just walk up to a counter. Cancel after 18:00 the day before and you don't get a refund.

Small (up to 20″), 4 hours₩3,000 weekday / ₩4,000 weekend
Medium (20–23″), 4 hours₩4,000 / ₩6,000
Large (23–27″), 4 hours₩6,000 / ₩9,000
Extra large (27″+), 4 hours₩9,000 / ₩13,000
Each extra hour₩1,000

Prices are "from" figures on the T-Luggage site, checked October 31, 2026. Valuables, cash, laptops, food and other items may be refused.

Sending bags to the airport or another station

T-Luggage also moves bags the same day. So you can check out of your hotel, drop the suitcase, and spend the whole day in hanbok without dragging it around.

Station to station (weekday)₩17,000–31,000
Station to station (weekend)₩25,000–45,000
Station to Incheon Airport (weekday)₩20,000–31,000
Station to Incheon Airport (weekend)₩29,000–45,000

The price depends on bag size. The official price table names Incheon Airport Terminal 2, and it doesn't list drop-off cut-off times. So check the deadline and your terminal when you book.

Storing bags on a hanbok day

Hanbok shops often include a locker for your own clothes and a small bag while you're out. Room for a big suitcase? Don't count on it; ask the shop first. If you're coming straight from hotel checkout, leave the suitcase at a subway locker or a T-Luggage counter, then ride to the palace. Hanbok rental near Gyeongbokgung
